A Year of Calm & Barakah: Our Impact So Far (With a Side of Real Life Mom Chaos 🙃)
Assalaamu alaykum dear sisters,
As we reach this point in the year, I wanted to pause and reflect with you. Running Fectiv has never just been about “creating products.” It’s always been about serving Muslim mothers with the tools, reminders, and support you need to parent with peace and purpose (and maybe yell at the laundry pile a little less) (Anyway, who says it’s wrong to yell at the laundry pile?). Alhamdulillah, here’s how Allah has allowed us to make an impact together this year:
Growing a Global Sisterhood
From the US to the UK, Australia to the UAE, our resources have reached hundreds of Muslim mothers worldwide. Whether you downloaded a free guide, joined a live session, or picked up one of our planners/journals-kinda books — you’ve reminded us that we are never alone in this journey of motherhood.
Qur’an at the Heart
This year, we are in sha Allaah launching the Qur’an Journal for Women — a structured way to reflect, memorize, and apply the Qur’an daily. Since studying the Principles of Tafseer multiple times (I’m also currently enrolled in a Tafseer course), I used everything I knew (so far) in designing this journal. Even one page a day can bring consistency and barakah into your mornings.
You can simply open the Qur’an and dive into one ayah at a time.
Honestly? That’s way better than your old “scroll Instagram first, then maybe open the mushaf” routine. 😅
And this hardcover version was specifically requested by you.
Parenting with Peace
Through our From Overwhelmed to Empowered transformational program and audio resources, we’ve supported moms who felt overwhelmed, guilty, or alone. Together, we’ve learned that gentle parenting doesn’t mean being permissive — it means being confident, strong, and rooted in Sunnah.
Basically: “Yes, my love, I will validate your feelings… but no, you may not put slime in the toaster.”
🤍 Emotional Relief & Connection
The most beautiful impact has been from you: crying less at night, yelling less during the day, making du‘a with more sincerity, and feeling spiritually taken care of by Allaah. And when a mom tells us she stopped yelling mid-yell, that would be Olympic-level mom growth right there. 🏆
Looking Ahead
The year isn’t over, in sha Allah. Coming soon (maybe, like, I’m working on them):
- Accountability Coaching for Muslim Women – finally, someone who will lovingly check if you actually drank water today.
- Barakah Nest Audio Library – on-demand reminders and du‘a drops for those tough mom moments (like when your toddler smears lotion on the wall, and you need to remember “inna lillahi” before the scream escapes).
- New Journals & Mini Courses – because moms deserve resources that are practical, beautiful, and free of yogurt stains (at least until the kids get to them).
Which of these do you think should attain fruition?
A Heartfelt (and Slightly Sleep-Deprived) Thank You
Every download, every purchase, every du‘a — it all matters. You are part of this journey, and together, we’re creating a movement of calmer, more confident Muslim mothers who raise future leaders of the Ummah (and maybe also future dishwashers, in sha Allah). (Or can AI help use get rid of dishwashing altogether?)
May Allah put barakah in your homes, your hearts, and your children.
With love,
Whilst sipping on a cup of coffee-gone-cold,
Noor Rahman
